walked on oceans
tiptoed the way up the springs
falling back on glossy rainbow pebbles
and travelled far and for O so long

Usually there is a Milad held; where people praise Allah and send blessings to the Prophet (S.A.W); the streets and houses are lighted up with fairy lights. This year the PM Imran Khan announced a special Umra return tickets reward for the best decorated house, office or building on 12 Rabi- ul- Awwal occasion. The decorations are even more beautiful this year.

Usually around Eid-ul-Adha most Muslims sacrifice an animal — camel, cow, bull, lamb, sheep or goat and distribute the meat equally in three parts: 1 part amongst the poor, one part for the friends, and one part for the family and relatives.
