Ignorance is bliss
Is there a book I can read, about how the world works in discreet
or is there a version I can stream, for people are not what they seem
be careful what you read and what you see, the social media is a rolling stream
the leaders have their own agendas, true mentors are few to none
they preach to you what they want you to learn but what if they have been manipulated by the system as well
every man is standing alone, fighting his/her own battle
the news headlines are filled with hunger, poverty, atrocities and violence against women, children and the elderly
the floods have drowned all sorrows, only to lead to a string of new ones
is there no place for the over carers, the overthinkers
lost are we in the modern world, technology has enslaved us you see
riddled with a lot more questions than answers, which path to follow, diversions are all I see
the journey is a lot more difficult than I first presumed
don’t see, don’t speak, don’t hear, don’t do — any evil
four wise Japanese monkeys, Mizaru, Kikazaru, Iwazaru and Shizaru, encrypted the formula for peace ages ago, you see
the world, unfortunately, decrypted the ancient wisdom as: don’t see, don’t speak, don’t hear, don’t do — anything against evil
there is true bliss in ignorance, after all, I see
live in denial, maybe you will live happily in the moment atleast , you see
